From 2019!

For almost 20 years we have been skating at Earl Warren Showgrounds. Today both Earl Warren and SBRH are working together on the challenges we both face in event attendance and finance. We can all be proud that we have kept hockey alive here, that our skaters have access to a fine roller, and now ice facility, and that our rink provides a venue for Roller Derby and Box Lacrosse. 

Hockey at Earl Warren has always relied on volunteerism and a tremendously generous, fun to skate with group of people. We have provided hockey for players of all ages and abilities for nearly 20 years. Now as we enter our third . decade we are facing some struggles. For the past 2 years we have not taken in as much money as we have in expenses. Earl Warren has very generously agreed to cut our rent in half for one year to give us time to rebuild. We need to increase our revenue by  fall of 2019 if we are going to survive. 

In order to meet these challenges we will be hosting a series of fundraisers that  we hope you will consider participating in.  We are launching our fundraising series with our Toys for Tots game. We are also selling jerseys and asking for cash donations. If you have enjoyed your time at SBHA and SBRH please consider a donation. If money is an issue we always need help with cleanup, maintenance and promotions. Please spread the word about our wonderful community.  In order to continue to offer hockey at an affordable price we need new players. Please reach out to your friends, promote us on social media, and share your love for this organizations with others who may not know about all that we offer.
