On Saturday evening the SBHA varsity team participated in a four team tournament at the Tri-Valley inline hockey rink in Calabasas. Although Lancaster put up a stiff resistance, (eventually they succumbed 2-0), Santa Barbara won all three of their first round games, and advanced to the first place slot in the playoffs. In the semi they defeated Calabasas B 8-0, then defeated Calabasas A 8-2 in the final.
This was the first outing for the team this year, and a promising start.
